Single-blind peer review



The predominance of single-blind journals in the sciences also explains why the massive use of preprints posted online in scientific fields does not pose a problem. Wiley reported that some of its health and physical sciences journals are single-blind, but some of its social sciences journals are single-blind. NPG has begun offering its authors anonymous peer review as an option for two journals, Nature Geoscience and Nature Climate Change.
